Experience the Orange County's Credit Union Difference

Did you know that our Members save an average of over $1,600 annually compared to a typical California bank?¹ In fact, 96% of credit union members favor their experience over a bank.² It's made possible because we're Member-owned, allowing our profits to be returned directly to you in the form of better rates and fewer fees.

What is The Community Impact Fund?

The Community Impact Fund (CIF) is an independent 501(c)3 non-profit established in 2018 to help organizations maximize their community impact by helping to meet the financial needs of their employees, members, and community.

Anyone in the United States can apply for Orange County’s Credit Union membership via CIF membership eligibility. Simply selecting “CIF Membership” as the member eligibility criteria, when applying via our digital application or in person in a branch is all that is needed to apply.

Those who become Orange County’s Credit Union Members via (CIF) organization, simply acknowledge both becoming a member of The Community Impact Fund (CIF) as the pre-requisite, and that their first name, last name, and email address will be provided to CIF, in order to receive a monthly newsletter which can be opted out of, if desired, at any time.

There are NO additional member fees or obligations with CIF, for those becoming new Orange County’s Credit Union and CIF members. CIF members, via Orange County’s Credit Union, will simply receive monthly financial wellness newsletters and will again, have the ability to unsubscribe at any time. New CIF members will also receive a welcome letter outlining CIF member benefits and how to engage with CIF, if and when desired.

We’re proud to work with The Community Impact Fund, which aligns with our own mission. The Community Impact Fund provides financial education resources to individuals and works with a variety of organizations to create a dedicated fund used as a provision for financial emergencies in the form of Impact Loans.
